Biography
Daniel Ramos
Mr. Ramos was born in New York City in 1968.
While attending John Jay High School, Mr. Ramos volunteered his time to
Methodist Hospital as a Data Entry clerk. After
graduating from High School, Mr. Ramos attended Kingsborough Community College
of the City University of New York (KCC - CUNY).
While at KCC Mr. Ramos worked as a quality control clerk for the Research
Foundation of CUNY (RF_CUNY) in their University Application Processing Center (UAPC)
department. After graduating from
KCC with an Associate Applied in Science in the field of computers he entered
Brooklyn College (BC_CUNY) to continue his studies within the field of computer
science. While at BC, he was
elected president of the Computer Science Society and worked as a computer
instructor for the Adult and Continuing Education Department.
In addition to his studies and Adjunct position, Mr. Ramos worked as an
instructor for Latimer Woods Economic Development Association, Inc.
While vehemently pursuing his education and working full, and part-time
jobs, Mr. Ramos found the time to offer his skills with computers.
Recognizing the popularity of his computer support services, and the
rapidly growing need for these services, Mr. Ramos started his own business. In 1991 Mr. Ramos created Liberty Computing Center and in
1998 he created United Internet Services, Inc.
Mr. Ramos’ services have been utilized by, but not limited to, the
following non-profit organizations: Brooklyn
Tenants Council, Inc., PASA, Inc. (Positive Attitudes Solutions & Actions),
Park Slope Geriatric Day Center, Ridgewood Bushwick Senior Citizens Council, and
the North Brooklyn Business Resource Center.
Mr. Ramos is recognized as one of today’s youngest and most aggressive
leaders by the Who’s Who World Wide Registry (1994 – 1995).
Mr. Ramos is becoming a respected leader within the
computer industry by offering his professional assistance and consultation to
those in need of computer knowledge, and giving back to the community through
